CAS hello card!

A quick post to share a card that I made early this morning, I kept it CAS and she was a freebie that I got from Chi Chi Memories here.  I decided to play along with their May challenge that they have going on now.  She is such a cutie and this image could be used for just about any occasion.   I colored her with copics and Spectrum noir markers, added a strip of washi tape with a pearl, my sentiment die is for Technique Tuesday.  The embossing folder is from The Paper Studio and I added some glossy accent to her hair accessory.  Simple huh!

Congratulations You Did It!

Wow, seems like it's been a while since I last posted up something, LOL!  Lots going on since last Friday, the weekend was a bit busy for us, we're still finishing up some touch ups on are kitchen renovation, we had company over for a night.  My close uncle took ill, he was diagnosed with cancer last October and suddenly took for the worse this past Friday.  I'm glad I got to spend some time with him although he couldn't converse back to me he squeezed my hand  a sign that I took that he knew I was there.    Well he passed away last evening.  No more suffering, he was so lost when my Auntie passed (2) years ago at least he can be with her now.   Anyhow ~~~
Well I wanted to share a card that I made for a graduation ceremony that I will be attending tomorrow.  Yep, lots of schools here on the island will be their last day and summer begins for them.  If you remember those graduation pop up boxes that I had posted earlier here is one of the same digital image that I made for that special person.
I also made her a lei that I made using those Enjoy Arare packets, her mom said that it's one of her favorite snacks.   The lei is pretty thick so I had to fold it over so don't mind the photo of it.

It's another busy day for me, will be back soon.

A Shadow Box Gift!

I've created another shadow box and giving this as a gift to the birthday girl who will be turning (13) years old soon.   Her colors are teal / purple shades!  To start it off my head was going in all directions, I didn't want it to look to kiddish since she will become a young teen.   I think this would hang perfectly on her bedroom wall her mom mentioned that her bedroom wall color is teal.   Oooh that must be something  to envision, lol!  I made the box over the weekend, kept in on the side.  I went through all my stamps and finally decided  to pick out the TGF stamps.  After starring at them for a while I told myself well here goes nothing, LOL!   To give them the dimensional look on the shadow box I stamped them  five times each so they can pop out.  A bit of fussy cutting but it turned out okay I guess.
To make the frame box it's so easy and simple  it takes a whole 12 x 12 sheet of solid cardstock. Once you get the framing done the rest is decorating it, so many possibilities for any occasion.  The background papers are from the paper pad DCWV such a pretty set of papers in there.   I used a bunch of different dies, ribbon from Stampin' Up on the front framing. The images were colored up with copics and Stampin' Up, lots and lots of pop up foam dots.  The time consuming part was paper piecing the butterfly, a bit challenging.  But I'm glad I pulled this through, it's one of a kind and in real it's just so pretty.   I hope when I do go to visit them I will see it hanging up on her wall.  LOL!

If you have never made one yet, you need to give it a try.   I know they are so many pre-made ones out there that they sell in the craft stores, that are made of wood or some type of replica hard plastic.  But for me, to create one from paper  from start to finish is a challenge I just love to do.  I don't own any fancy Silhouette or Cameo so I for one don't need those SVG files or whatever they call them to incorporate one.  I just love trying and doing it hands free and just taking my time to see the end results....
Well thanks for peeking in and I hope you like what I have on my showcasing..
I'll see ya when I see ya back here again soon...
Enjoy your crafty moments, I know I love been in my crafty room all day if I could... hehe!

Anything But a Card!

We're starting off a new challenge over at Milk Coffee Stamps and this fortnight the theme for this challenge is "Anything But a Card".   I've been crafting so much this past weeks that I did a CAS  tag for this challenge.   It's nothing fancy but this tag will be attaching to a birthday gift that I just finished and will be posting it tomorrow. For more inspiration be sure to stop by the blog and check out what the rest of the DT members have for you.
This digital image was a freebie that Milk Coffee Stamps provided sometime back.  I had it already cut up in my file folder just had to have it colored and put it together.   The coloring was with Stampin' Up Markers, papers were scrap that I had in my scrap box, added stickles and glossy accents to the ice cream to make it look delish.  The scallop punch is Mary Uchida,  the sentiment is from Island Scrapbooking and dies from Spellbinders.

Like I said it wasn't anything fancy, the main thing I got my project posted, LOL!
Thanks for peeking in and see ya back here soon....

What! More Pop Up Boxes!

Danger - kind of a lengthy post!
Yep -  more Pop Up Boxes, mine you not just (1) but a total of (5) that I needed to get done.   I swear I think I can do them blind folded, LOL!   It's like a fad that went out of control, one parent seen this and next thing you know I've got text messages saying please can you make them for my daughter who is graduating from the sixth grade.   Well this batch is for the recipient that pleaded to have them, it's for her daughter and her bestie's that are all graduating from a Christian private school here on the island.  Their is a reason why they are not all identical , (3) of them are dog lover's, (1) is a horse fanatic she is also a rodeo queen, and (1) is obsess with fairies.  Golly, this made me go a bit in a whirlwind trying to figure what I had on file and vision how to get them to be all on the same level.
I'm like a robot trying to be all in different places at once, to top it off my hubby gave me the biggest surprise ever.   To make a long story short, he took me a couple of weeks ago to go window shopping,  he drove into several shops and acted so cool and said if we ever had to re-do our kitchen what style pattern would I choose for my counters.  I'm like shaking my head and said well I don't think this would be the right time to even think of renovating.   I've been trying so hard to save  every bit so we can plan on going on a trip.
Well lordy lord he sneaked behind my back and arranged to re-do our kitchen, his on vacation this week and had everything planned out with out me even knowing... Hummm, he really got me.   So with my crafting and with the contractors in and out it's been a bit of of a chaos.   Well I'm excited , his got the contractors doing our counters, brand new sink, and brand new gas stove.   I'm anxious on the stove, we have always had electric but now his converting it to gas.  Wow, I'm so blessed by him.....
Anyhow back to those Pop Up Boxes, they are so many different details that I used making them so if you are curious shoot me an email and I can tell you exactly what I used.

I can't wait to see those girls on their graduating day, I got invited for their ceremony so this will be something awesome to see.   I just have the envelopes  to do and they should be quick using my We R Memory envelope punch board.   They fit perfectly in a A7 envelope.
But wait, I've got more graduating cards to do.  I'm still not done.... LOL!
Take care, see ya when I see ya back here again soon..  Enjoy your crafty moments!

A Graduation Pop Up Box Card!

Don't forget I have blog candy here!

Hello peeps~
Being feeling yucky the past couple of days with a cold I'm trying to get over.   And I've got tons of crafting to do and didn't feel up to par in getting it quite together yet... With my nasal drip nose and dry cough it's so hard to sit still.   LOL!
Anyhow here's a graduation pop up box card that I made for a friends niece that will be graduating from Kamehameha School here on the Big Island.  I met up with her yesterday morning so she could see it in real, sometimes sending pics back and forth it's hard to envision what it actually looks like.  I had to scoot in to town to buy me some cough syrup and Day and Night Quil so I can overcome my illness.   Well she loved it and was blown away by how it turned out.   I'm also doing two more other request from her and will get them posted as soon as I can sit still.  LOL!
So here is my Pop Up Box Card and the school colors are blue and white.  Hope you are inspired and if you didn't try making one it's easy peasy.... love measuring and cutting out free style....I guess for me it's the challenge and the end results of it... hehe!
Supplies for this project:
Stamp - Sister Stamps (Graduating)
papers - Basic
Embellishments - pearls, stickles, pop up foam dots, glossy accents, brads
markers - Stampin' Up
Dies - Spellbinders, Die-Namics, Lawn Fawn
Daisy Flower - Wild Orchid
computer generated senitment

The first phase of coloring the stamp image.

When card is folded flat

Thanks for sneaking by and checking out my project... No shame, leave me some sweet comments.  It's all good!
See ya when I see ya back here soon~
