Sympathy card~

A quick post to share a sympathy card that I  made for one of my hubby's cousin who passed away recently.  My hubby chose the images that represents what his cousin loved and that was the bamboo, and seagulls, memories of their childhood days.   Being that this is a touchy subject I won't go into further details.   Thank you for understanding!

Be back soon~

Brown Sugar Challenge#70!

Happy Friday and weekend peeps~
Hope everyone of you are content to the gizzards from your turkey feast,  and also did some crazy shopping whether on-line or fighting the madness where ever you went.
We went turkey hopping to (4) families started off with breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.   Of course I was already content when we had brunch.   I started light on breakfast pumpkin pancakes and coffee.   Boy was they good!  Brunch took it all, I had a big turkey Cesar salad and I was content with that.  No room for lunch, and dinner was a small bowl of turkey soup.
Anyhow it's back to a new challenge over at Brown Sugar Challenge with the theme: Thank You.   For this challenge we are sponsored by:

Here is my card for this challenge:

Are you ready for a cup of tea!

Hello peeps~
Hope your week is going great, soon it will be gobble up time.  Are you prepping for your turkey feast?   For us, this year we are going turkey hopping, LOL!  I mean we are going from one family to the next  and maybe the next.   Lots of different varieties as far as just having one big bird.

Any who here's another project I had posted over on FB yesterday and wanted to share with you all here.   I made these (4) cups yesterday and they were so quick and simple to make.   They are just the cutest in real and love hove pretty they turned out.   I had made them for my mom to give to her besties that she goes walking with every morning.    They will be filled up with treats and bagged up later.   Ooh another off my check list!

Supplies used:
papers - Stampin Up - Holly Berry Bouquet
doily, Marvy Uchida oval punch
Spellbinders ovals for the handles
Note:  you can make (2) cups out of 1 - 12 x 12 card stock
I laid them on a thick cardstock as a base cut as 4 1/2 x 4 1/2, like the cup is sitting on a saucer plate.
I'm so stoked the way they turned out, hehe!

Notebook organizer and coaster calendar set!

Hello peeps~
Hope you're weekend is going great- I'm sure everyone is been busy busy catching up with all their crafty projects on their wish list.  I know I still have a bunch more that I need to get done soon or for sure I will be way behind by the time Christmas gets here.  LOL!
Here's another set I just finished up this evening, started working on it this morning than had it on pause and went out to do  some errands with hubby today.  Boy, I couldn't wait until I had gotten back home to get this finished up.   The paper piecing is a bit tedious on this die because of the wee pieces so it becomes a challenge.  And for me since I've made several of them before it gets much easier as I keep doing them.

supplies used:
papers - Papertrey ink
dies - Memory box, Spellbinders
buttons, floss, pen, post it notes, gems, pop up dots, magnetic strip

I've punched out a few more of them but got them aside for now,  working on some other commitments that are due soon.

KBD-Aloha Friday Challenge #12 - Fall Colors!

Happy Aloha Friday peeps~
It's that time again for Kitty Bee Designs, and Team Bees Challenge!  This time for challenge #12 it's all about "Fall Colors".   Although we don't experience the change in our leaves changing here in Hawaii I'm sure in real in must be a beauty to see.  My brother who resides in Portland always tells me it's not like experiencing the Four Seasons.  It's such a beauty to see when the weather turns in every season.   I'm crossing fingers that one day we can save some money and travel to somewhere during the fall and see it all.
Any who back to the challenge and my card!  Simple but yet cute~

Here's what I used on my card:
Digi image - KBD (Hanging around bear)
Spectrum noir markers, glossy accents
Spellbinders, sentiment (Stampin Up) lace ribbon.

Mochi - Yum yum!

Mochi, who doesn't love eating them here on the islands.  Although we don't pound ours we do the modern way either microwave or using the mochiko flour.    Just as yummy and a favorite in the family.   Mieko is one the newest stamps from Sister Stamps, LLC  quick and simple to be colored and it didn't take me long to get this card together.   Added some washi tapes,  pearls, stickles, laser cherry blossoms from Island Scrapbooking, Copic and memento  markers, sentiment from Die-Namics and wah lah!.

Time to do some cleaning in my craft room and get down to some heavy crafting later.
Thanks for taking the time to peek in, and hope I got you inspired.

Upcycle or Recyle Something!

It's a new challenge over at Lia Stampz with the theme: Upcycle or Recycle Something!
For this fun challenge I used a recycle container that I had gotten for Girl's Day this past March.  I was using it for some odd and ends that I had in it and decided to give this container to our neighbors son who will be turning 1 this coming November.  The image is actually called Christmas bunny but I reversed it and made it look like a baby birthday theme.   I will get him a boy's Tee and a GC to put in here and have it packaged.  They are laid back people and wouldn't mind receiving anything out of the ordinary.  LOL!
Don't forget and hop back over and check out what some of the DT have for their showcasing.

Supples I used:
Recycled container -just needs to be cleaned up a little
Spectrum noir markers,
CC Designs die
Spellbinders scallop ovals
